Basic Policy on the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information

HiJoJo Global Unicorn Investment Corporation (the “Investment Corporation”) recognizes the importance of Specific Personal Information, meaning Specific Personal Information as defined in the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (the “My Number Act”). The Investment Corporation will handle Specific Personal Information that it acquires in compliance with the My Number Act, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the “Personal Information Protection Act”), other laws and regulations relating to the protection of Specific Personal Information, and guidelines and other rules issued by the competent authorities.
The Investment Corporation will appropriately handle, protect and manage Specific Personal Information in accordance with the following policy (this “Policy”).

1. The Investment Corporation fully recognizes the importance of Specific Personal Information and will endeavor to handle and protect Specific Personal Information properly.
2. The Investment Corporation will acquire, use and provide Specific Personal Information appropriately and only within the scope of the purposes prescribed by laws, regulations and standards applicable to the protection of Specific Personal Information.
3. The Investment Corporation will endeavor to keep Specific Personal Information as accurate and up to date as reasonably possible within the scope of the purposes prescribed by laws, regulations and standards applicable to the protection of Specific Personal Information.
4. Where the Investment Corporation outsources all or part of the handling of Specific Personal Information, it will exercise due care in selecting the relevant service provider and will conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of that service provider, including endeavoring to require the service provider to implement strict Security Control Measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access or other incidents involving Specific Personal Information.
5. The Investment Corporation will not provide Specific Personal Information to any third party, regardless of whether the relevant individual has given consent, except where permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
6. In addition to reviewing this Policy in response to amendments to applicable laws and regulations, the Investment Corporation will review it as necessary and endeavor to strengthen and improve its initiatives for the protection of Specific Personal Information.
